Accounting Consultant - San Jose (think Project Manager!)
As Accounting Consultant, you are a solid project manager collaborating with, and supporting, the Client Management team working directly on multiple client portfolios providing support at the operational level in a consultative manner. Reviewing financial statements, A/P, A/R, payroll, bank statement reconciliation and balance sheets and ensuring that all the overseas monthly accounting/financials are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. This role offers you one on one interaction with our client’s at the Controller and CFO level, working closely with our local service providers who are working overseas at the client’s locations, and a primary driver of the financial and accounting deliverables within our Client Management team.
This role requires someone with a solid track in general ledger accounting, having familiarity with all the accounting fundamental (US GAAP or IFRS) practices including A/P, A/R and payroll, as well as, month end close, financial statement review and bank statement reconciliations. Some international experience is very helpful. If you are fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin or Japanese, that’s a great big plus…but not necessary.
Strong communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with C-level executives and local resources to our overseas clients. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and confidently is critical.
