Job Description
Were looking for a Bookkeeper/Quickbooks guru who wants to make a difference in our growing Construction company!
As the Bookkeeper/Quickbooks Coordinator for construction company you will be responsible for the day to day Finance and general support tasks required to keep a design firm growing. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities such as: inputting timecards and payroll computations, invoicing clients, inputting payables, computing expense reports, making reports and assisting the Manager on a variety of other assigned tasks.
Assist in the development, and issuance of timely monthly financial records for company leadership
Assist in planning and organizing the year-end close process
Interface with outside bankers, lessors, casualty/liability insurance agents, credit card companies, and other agencies as required
Manage one temporary worker that is doing clean up and auditing
Key Competencies
Sense of urgency; ability to work on variety of tasks
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts for all bookkeeping, payroll and budgets
Ability to create and manage processes for department
Must have solid communication, technology, analytical skills
Must be able to use financial and timekeeping software (QuickBooks, Construction)
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant experience in Construction company
Understand how to manage vendor accounts for contractor billing and invoices
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00
